{"id":228,"date":"2011-02-10T20:22:08","date_gmt":"2011-02-10T20:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theycrawl.com\/news\/?p=228"},"modified":"2011-02-10T20:24:37","modified_gmt":"2011-02-10T20:24:37","slug":"testing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.theycrawl.com\/news\/?p=228","title":{"rendered":"Testing&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This <strong>Tues 15th Feb<\/strong> I&#8217;ll be testing my new short story <strong>Family<\/strong> out on a live audience for the very first time at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freedomexpression.co.uk\/\"><strong>Freedom of Expression<\/strong><\/a>, a fantastic variety night at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freedomexpression.co.uk\/cgi-bin\/foe.cgi?foe_venue=4\"><strong>The Green Dragon<\/strong> in <strong>Croydon<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At half an hour in total this will be the longest public reading I&#8217;ve done so far, and by quite a stretch: as anyone who&#8217;s seen me do my stuff before will know, while my talks last around an hour, up &#8217;til now I&#8217;ve kept my actual readings down to around five mins a go. This will be an <strong>experiment<\/strong> &#8211; and right now I don&#8217;t mind telling you I&#8217;m a little nervous about it!
